Fred Perry x Stussy Deluxe - Spring/Summer 2010 - Limited Edition “Blank Canvas” Collection
"Heritage tennis sportswear label, Fred Perry, has been branching off from traditional tennis get-up for a while now with a series of wildly popular collaborations such as tapping into the brains and style of Belgian designer, Raf Simons. As a part of the label’s “Blank Canvas” collaborations, the label has invited U.S. urban label, Stussy, to create a capsule collection incorporating classic Fred Perry elements. The collaboration works with Stussy ’s Stussy Deluxe focuses on the sharp and cool aesthetics–”the definition of modernist” as Creative Director of Stussy, Nick Bower, puts it. The collaboration brings American and British aesthetics under one roof, condensed into six items including a slim-fit Fred Perry button down dressed in Stussy plaid, tees emblazoned with logos of both labels, Fred Perry’s iconic polo, tennis bomber and varsity jacket. Check out images of the upcoming collection courtesy of oki-ni and stay tuned for the collection due to drop in February 2010.
